Our county is home to the Cohutta Wilderness which contains approximately 96,503 acres of forest land and is the largest National Forest Wilderness in the Eastern United States. Anglers experience a fisherman's delight with 1,300+ miles of streams that offer the opportunity to catch rainbow, brown and brooke trout. Each tour is geared to the skill level of participants and includes a basic lesson for newcomers to the sport. However, the general windows are from daybreak to noon and 5 pm to sunset. The TVA schedule of water release into the river will be observed when scheduling tours. Unfortunately, TVA doesn't always stick to their schedule so I cannot be held responsible for tours interrupted by rising water. This is a rare occurrence. I will make every effort to accommodate the customers desire. To schedule guide services, call Charles at 706-455-8479 or email jkaylor4@gmail.com. |
